"Wine Tasting"



"Wine Tasting"●
I live in "Sonoma County California, better known as "Wine Country".  Some of us call it "God's Country".  An interesting idea, right? This may be one way to encourage more audience participation!

This piece is constructed in a 6" x 5" x 1" wooden box, covered in art tissue on the outside, and collaged on the inside with text from a wine-making book. The 'folks' at the table, besides welcoming everyone, also glow in the dark! (click on image to enlarge)

    What a lovely piece of artwork.
    How amazing to have your work shown in a gallery!!! That must feel good!
    It is a good idea to pass your superfluous stuff on to people who will use and enjoy it, I totally approve of that and I may do the same.

    Hey Diane - thanks for stopping by!
    Yes art tissue (some call it 'bleeding' tissue) is available at most art supply stores (Michael's)and on-line. i love it because if you sprinkle water on it the colors bleed and you come up with a whole rainbow of new colors. When used in collage, the papers blend into each other giving the appearance of paint.
