Everything But . . . (again)

"Everything But . . . . again"
I originally posted about this piece a few months ago. But it wasn't quite right . . . while it hung in the gallery, I would notice that customers 'liked' it, and commented positively about it, but 'something' was not right. . . you can see the original post here.

So I brought it back to the studio and 're-worked it a bit.  I incorporated all the bits and bling it originally held, except I removed the metal grate over the mirror - it was too much.
I think the improvement is good.  What do you think?

  1. I like the other version too. Both are great but since it is a mirror, I guess it would be nice to see yourself in it? tee hee. Have a great week. You know that all your work is just awesome amiga.Take care.

  2. Yes, I agree. I like the revised edition better. I feel the grate was a bit too much. Nicely reworked.

  3. This version allows art to be a practical object too. I liked the grill but when it was reflected, well that was what made it too much for me anyway. Just love the way you use so many bling things and yet they all go together. Joan

  4. I like the first version but I love the reworked one! Now it is not just a piece of art but something practical to hang in your home too! Love those potatoe mashers in the corners, such a fun piece.

  7. Love it! Altho I think the right person would have bought it with the grate too. Would've ben great for displaying jewelry or even an idea board..with some clips to hang with. Wishing you luck.

  9. Love your art... re this one... the metal grate was too much... A grate with larger openings would have made it less "busy".
