This is where I will list all the assemblages that are made using mannequin heads. Some are the mannequin heads a hair stylist might use to practice on, while others are styrofoam head forms, the kind used to display wigs or hats.
I created these various pages so that visitors who may be interested in seeing a specific genre of the work I've made over the years, can see them all in one place.

Hi Rebecca, these are great, love them! I have a question, are any of these done using Styrofoam heads? I just obtained two and was debating on decoupaging or making Halloween ghosts. Have you tried decoupage on styrofoam?
ReplyDeleteBrenda, I don't know why, but I just saw this question from you, regarding styrofoam heads. Yes. I have used them, in fact there are two in this collection, "Edna" and "More than Words", both are styrofoam, all the others are mannequin heads, the kind a hair stylist might use to practice on. Both work just fine. they take the glue (i use elmers white glue, watered down a bit) to attache the papers, and then i seal them with Liquitex Gloss Varnish Medium.
